Windows 8 Tutorial - Create Shutdown and Restart Icons
This is a short tutorial demonstrating how to create a Shutdown and Restart icon on your desktop in Windows 8. People have been complaining about how it is more difficult to figure out how to shutdown the PC in Windows 8 than in previous versions of Windows.
Here are the commands you must paste into the shortcuts for them to work.
Shutdown:
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -s -t 00
Restart:
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -r -t 00
